IGET Bar vs IGET Bar Pro: Is the Upgrade Worth It?

IGET Bar vs IGET Bar Pro: Is the Upgrade Worth It?

Same brand, same draw-activated format, same sealed single-use build with no charging port on either one. The difference between the IGET Bar and the IGET Bar Pro is scale, and whether paying for that scale makes sense depends on how much you actually vape. Here is the head-to-head, then an honest answer — including the cases where the upgrade is the wrong call.

What actually changes when you step up

Three things: the tank goes from around 12mL to 20mL, the cell from roughly 1,400 to 1,500mAh up to 2000mAh, and the rating from 3,500 puffs to 10,000. Nicotine is identical at 5% salt, so the hit does not get stronger — you are buying duration, not intensity. The Pro is also a chunkier thing in the hand at 93g. Is it better value? Do the division at checkout

We are not going to quote a per-puff figure, because prices move and any number we print here would be out of date quickly. What we can give you is the arithmetic. The Pro's rated 10,000 puffs is a bit under three times the Bar's 3,500 — 2.9 times, near enough. So the rule is simple: if the Pro costs less than about three Bars on the day you are buying, it is the cheaper puff. If it costs more, you are paying a convenience premium for fewer reorders. Check both prices in the cart and do that division yourself, every time, rather than assuming the bigger device is automatically better value.

Who should stay on the IGET Bar

Plenty of people, and we sell a lot of Bars to them on purpose.

  • You like switching flavours often. This is the strongest argument for the smaller device. A 12mL Bar gets finished and you move on to something else. A 20mL Pro commits you to one flavour for close to three times as long, and there is no way to swap out mid-tank.
  • You are a light or occasional vaper. If a device already lasts you weeks, tripling the liquid does not solve a problem you have — it just ties up more money in something sitting in a drawer.
  • You are trying a flavour for the first time. Test a new blend on a Bar. Finding out you dislike it 20mL into a Pro is a genuinely annoying way to learn.
  • You want the lowest upfront spend. Straightforward — the Bar is the cheaper single purchase, whatever the per-puff maths says.

Who should step up to the Bar Pro

  • You were running out too fast. If a Bar is lasting you days rather than weeks, that is exactly the problem the Pro was built for.
  • You are tired of reordering. Consistent daily vapers who order every fortnight can move to a much longer cycle on the Pro.
  • You have settled on a flavour. Once you know what you like, the commitment that makes the Pro a bad first purchase becomes its main advantage.

About those puff numbers

Both figures are lab ceilings, measured with short consistent puffs under controlled conditions — ratings, not promises. Longer, harder draws pull more liquid per puff, so real-world totals land under the headline for most people. As pure arithmetic: at 200 puffs a day the Bar's rating works out to about 17 days and the Pro's to about 50. That is division from the rated figure, not a measured result, and expect to land under it. We break down why in our guide to how long a disposable vape really lasts.

One thing to check before you buy a Pro anywhere

Some overseas listings for a device called the IGET Bar Pro describe a Type-C rechargeable variant, and we have seen one quoting 3% nicotine. We are not going to claim such a variant does or does not exist somewhere in the world. What we can tell you is what we ship in Australia: a sealed single-use unit, no charging port, 5% nicotine salt. Specs vary by listing and by market, so read any retailer's own spec table rather than assuming.

Flavours

The Bar range runs to 12 flavours with us and the Pro to 22, and the Pro's line-up leans further into iced and layered fruit blends. We have ranked both properly elsewhere — see our best IGET Bar flavours and best IGET Bar Pro flavours rather than us repeating the exercise here.

Our take

If you are new to IGET, buy the Bar. Find a flavour you genuinely like, see how fast you get through it, then decide. If you already know your habit and your flavour and you are reordering more often than you would like, the Pro is the sensible move. And if neither quite fits — if you want a charging port, for instance — the rest of the line-up is covered in our IGET range explainer.

We stock both as singles and as multi-flavour boxes, all 100% original stock, with fast discreet Australia-wide delivery and free shipping on orders of 10 or more. For adults 21+ only.
