Storing and rotating a batch
A batch bought at once deserves a bit more thought than a single device in your pocket.
- Cool and dark. Storage guidance for both e-liquid and lithium batteries points the same way: normal indoor room temperature, out of direct sun. A drawer or cupboard is ideal — heat degrades a battery fastest.
- Never the car. A parked car in an Australian summer is the worst place you could pick. Same for a sunny windowsill.
- Sealed and upright. Keep the factory wrap on until you're using one, and store them standing up so the liquid stays settled around the wick.
- Don't refrigerate. Cold isn't the problem; the condensation when it warms back up is.
- Oldest first. New stock goes at the back of the drawer, and you work from the front. Nothing sits forgotten.
- Out of reach. Strictly adults 21+, and a box of ten belongs somewhere kids and visitors don't go.
